Fallon Theatre Movies & More

It’s another exciting week at the Fallon Theatre and we’re swinging into action with a pair of animated superhero hits perfect for the whole family. Plus, don’t miss the great lineup of concerts, performances and community events we’ve got on the way!

This Friday and Saturday, July 11 & 12 at 6 pm, we’re showing “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” (2018), the groundbreaking animated film that introduced audiences to Miles Morales and a universe of Spider-heroes. With dazzling visuals, heart, and humor, this PG-rated adventure runs 1 hour and 57 minutes.

Then at 7 pm, continue the journey with “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” (2023), where Miles returns for an even bigger, bolder adventure through the multiverse. With stunning animation and high-stakes storytelling, this film is rated PG and runs 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Looking ahead to Friday, July 18 at 7 pm, we’re partnering with the Toiyabe Chamber Music Society to host Dan Flanagan and his one-of-a-kind program, “The Bow and the Brush.” This internationally-known violinist pairs original solo compositions with projected artwork and engaging stories behind each piece. Admission is a suggested donation of $5 and this unique multimedia event promises a memorable evening of art and music.

Then on Saturday, July 19 at 7 pm, we crank up the volume with a night of live local music from Acid Box and Cryptilians. Fallon’s own Acid Box blends hard rock, metal, punk, and blues, while Cryptilians bring sharp punk energy straight from Reno. Admission is $10 at the door so come rock with us!

We’re also thrilled to be part of Fallon’s Community Reunion in August. On Friday, August 15, join us for a free concert featuring the Great Basin Band, known for their high-energy covers of pop, country and rock from the '80s through today. Then on Saturday, August 16 from 10 am to 2 pm, come tour the theatre and celebrate its long-standing place in the heart of our town.

And don’t forget – our annual fundraising Show ‘N’ Shine rolls in on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9 am to 1 pm! This beloved community car show is free for all and features classic cars, food, music and fun for the whole family. Car registration is open now at fallontheatre.com.

Clean comedy returns to the Fallon Theatre on Friday, November 14 at 7 pm with Lee Hardin, returning after last year’s sold-out show! Hailing from Nashville and seen on NBC, DryBar Comedy and Nateland Live, Lee brings sharp wit and hilarious stories the whole crowd can enjoy. Tickets are $20, don’t miss your chance to see him live!

As always, our weekly movie nights are free to attend, and our concession stand is fully stocked with all your favorites, including our summer special: $5 soda floats, with traditional root beer and fun Pepsi flavor twists! We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
