A Joyful Send-Off: Veritas Ends School Year with Celebration and Gratitude

A Joyful Send-Off: Veritas Ends School Year with Celebration and Gratitude
- 5th & 6th Grade students enjoyed the Sprinkle Ice Cream & Treats

The 2024–2025 school year has officially come to a close, capping off months of academic growth, spiritual development, and personal achievement at Veritas Preparatory School.

The final week of school was filled with memorable events, including classroom parties, a lively field day, a fun-filled trip to Top Gun Skate, and a sweet visit from Sprinkle Ice Cream and Treats. Kindergarten graduation was another highlight, drawing family and friends to campus to celebrate an important milestone.

On the last day of school, students gathered in the lunch hut to enjoy ice cream, sign memory books, and say goodbye to friends for the summer. Many also bid farewell to beloved classmates from military families who are relocating to new duty stations — a bittersweet tradition at Veritas.

Parents and students filled the chapel to honor the kindergarten class of 2025. K5 teacher Mrs. Jung, channeling her best Mary Poppins, led the students in songs, recitations, and a delightful review of the year’s learning. Each student proudly received a prestigious kindergarten completion certificate to mark the occasion.

While summer break brings a welcome rest, plans for the upcoming academic year are already underway. Veritas looks forward to welcoming new families, adding staff positions, expanding academic offerings, and making improvements to the campus.

In the meantime, students are looking forward to sunshine, adventures, summer reading, and perhaps a bit of sleeping in. As one kindergartner put it, “I’m going to miss my teacher — but I’m really excited to go to the pool!”

The Lord continues to bless Veritas, and families now look ahead with gratitude for a year well spent — and anticipation for the one to come.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud. Thank you Aunt for this sweet post.Comment publication date: 3/27/26, 12:11 AMComment source: Obituary -- Randolph Floris Banovich C Comment author: RBCComment text: The Navy should reimburse the market cost of replacing the grazing land they are taking.
