Western Nevada College’s Fall 2026 semester begins Monday, Aug. 31, with registration continuing for classes at the Fallon campus and online.
Students may add full-term classes through myWNC until Friday, Sept. 4. The deadline to drop a full-term or open-entry class for a full refund is Saturday, Sept. 5. The college will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day.
Full payment for fall classes is due by 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10. Students who do not pay may be dropped from their classes. The deadline to drop eligible classes for a 50% refund is Saturday, Sept. 19.
Late-registration requests for full-term classes will be accepted through 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, with instructor approval, full payment, and a $25 late fee.
Other important dates include Oct. 29, the deadline to withdraw with a “W” grade; Nov. 2, the fall graduation application deadline; Dec. 14, the beginning of final exams; and Dec. 19, the end of the semester.
The college will be closed Oct. 30 for Nevada Day and Nov. 26-27 for Thanksgiving. No classes will be held Nov. 25.
