Churchill County COVID Results and Vaccination Reminder

Churchill County will be providing the COVID vaccinations to community members age 70 and older, tomorrow, January 21st beginning at 4:00 p.m. on a first come first-served basis.

To expedite the vaccine experience, which be held at the fairgrounds, please print and fill out the "COVID-19 questionnaire" and "Pre-Vaccination Checklist" forms on this webpage: http://www.churchillcountynv.gov/1015/COVID-19-Vaccines and bring them with you when it is your age group's time to go to the fairgrounds for your COVID vaccine.

Regular community testing for COVID also continues at the fairgrounds on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to noon with drop-ins welcome from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Testing is also available on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., with drop-ins welcome from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The testing intake form is available on the county website at: http://www.churchillcountynv.gov/1014/COVID-Testing and can be filled out on computers or phones, with the ability to email the form back to the County Health Department. Staff will then set up a testing date and time and notify the person of their appointment.

Churchill County COVID data as of January 19th is showing 250 current positive cases, with six people currently hospitalized. There has been a total of 18,831 community tests given, with a total of 1,732 positives since March and 1,437 people recovered. There have been 45 deaths, locally, associated with COVID.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all.
