A fresh faced restaurant has graced Fallon in the former Golden Rice Bowl building. Tandoori Flames Indian Cusine & Bar is the first Indian cuisine restaurant in Fallon, and they started with their best foot forward.
The restaurant is simple, casual, and good for both experienced as well as beginners in the realm of Indian food. The most important feature of their menu being spice selection. Tandoori allows you to choose on a spectrum from mild to hot, allowing the beginners to start their taste buds off slowly but surely.
Lamb curry – a personal favorite of mine – is executed well at Tandoori. The lamb was tender and evenly cooked, without the gamey and dry taste that tends to be found with overcooking at other establishments. The heat balance within the seasoned rice and sauce was exactly as requested and not overdone.
I am glad to see another variety of cuisine in the community, and look forward to a possible revolution that Tandoori could start by introducing their well-executed food to Fallon. Find them at 1760 W. Williams Avenue.

I've eaten here and the food is WONDERFUL!
I love this place but haven't been there since March.
Are they still doing the buffet, or has it been closed down for Covid. ?
The buffet seems to be closed, and we haven’t heard any word of when it will reopen when it’s safe again!
