Green Goddess Collective Offers Local Goods at New Location

The Green Goddess Collective celebrated its ribbon cutting last week, marking the official launch of a space for local home business entrepreneurs to sell their products in a farmer’s market setting. Managed by Kim Urso along with Karen Nichols, Stacy Fisk, and Jamie Sammons, the collective is located at 448 South Maine Street and is open Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. It operates from February through November, closing during the winter months.

The market features a variety of local vendors, showcasing a range of handmade and homegrown products. Pictured from left to right, Yanina and Dylan Fluger offer handmade soaps, Karen Nichols, a founding member of the collective, presents her products, and Kim Urso of Yellow Petal Flower Farm, also a founding member, brings fresh flowers. Stacy Fisk of Fisk Farms, another founding member, shares farm goods, while Courtney Weiss displays a selection of jewelry. Stephanie of Deep Roots Bake Co. provides baked goods, and Korina Melweldt of Melweldt's Organics offers organic items.

Also pictured, Salisha Odem, of Salisha's Delicious, presents homemade treats, and Hannah Fisk and Jessica Peak run the Peachy Queen Traveling Tavern, serving a variety of beverages. Helen McKnight represents LeMere Bread and Bake with artisan breads and pastries. Not pictured are Leesa Stevens and Jamie Sammons, a founding member of the collective.

For updates and information, the Green Goddess Collective can be reached through their Facebook or Instagram pages.

I honestly can’t believe you are gone…..you were a wonderful human being, with a HUGE heart and soul. Hearing this makes my heart break! You are forever in our hearts, and I can say I feel blessed that I was able to know you! Who and what they REALLY were. Because they were devotional and IMPORTANT to the humans they connected with. The content of their life bled so that others could feel their own life’s importance. Teachers of justifiable life and art. That all can absorb and use as the best fertilizer for THEIR lives. Giving the silent secrets and the loud guidance. The Melon Man was a perfect specimen for how to devote. His passing meant a life book of feeling/knowing what gives other humans their paths to Love and Knowledge. Some humans are meant to show others their paths. And in that they secrete ways to profitably exist.Comment publication date: 3/18/26, 4:50 PMComment source: In memorium -- The Melon Man
