Unite: Building a Stronger Community at Veritas Preparatory School

At Veritas Preparatory School, we believe that a successful education is built on a partnership between families, teachers, and students. One of the greatest expressions of that partnership is Unite, our parent organization dedicated to strengthening the Veritas community through service, fellowship, and support.

Unite is far more than a volunteer group. It is an essential part of school life. Throughout the year, parents work behind the scenes to encourage teachers and staff, organize special events, welcome new families, and create activities and recognition for students. Whether coordinating teacher appreciation activities, planning seasonal celebrations, or helping with campus events, Unite plays a vital role in making Veritas a place where students and families feel known, valued, and connected.

The name Unite reflects the organization's mission: to bring families together in support of the school's classical Christian vision while modeling servant leadership for the next generation. Through their joyful service and commitment, Unite members help cultivate the strong sense of community that has become a hallmark of Veritas Preparatory School.

Unite also serves as a driving force behind many of the school's fundraising efforts. This past spring, the group played a leading role in organizing the school's first Walkathon at the Churchill County High School track. From creative planning and event logistics to coordinating volunteers and supporting countless student activities throughout the year, Unite's contributions have a lasting impact on the school.

Recently, Unite parents gathered to organize a float for the Fourth of July parade where Veritas took first place for People's Choice.

Veritas Preparatory School is deeply grateful for the time, talent, and generosity of every Unite volunteer. Their faithful service exemplifies the spirit of Christian community and reminds us that we accomplish far more when we work together.
