

James Lee Chambers passed away at his residence in Fallon on July 4, 2019 after a long battle with ALS. Jim was born June 30, 1962 in Denver, Colorado to Charles and Barbara Sherman. He has lived in Fallon for 28 years. He had worked at Fallon Naval Air Station as a aviation technician.
He is survived by his wife, Jane; son and daughter-in-law Trevor and Kayli; daughter, Megan Chambers; grandchildren Dakoda; Alice; Miles and Jacob; brothers, Jerry and Richard; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Jim’s life on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at The Gardens Chapel. Inurnment with Military Honors will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Fernley, NV.
In Jim’s memory, donations can be made to ALS Foundation, 1275 K Street NW Ste 250, Washington, DC 20005.

Comment text: A little disappointed in the parade and fireworks. With it being America's 250th Birthday, there should have been some more history, as in pioneers walking behind wagons.....etc. And as for fireworks, should have been more spectacular, like seeing hearts, and smiling faces and an American flag all dine in fire works.
