Stillwater Refuge Headquarters Plans Grand Opening

The Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge will hold a grand opening for its headquarters office Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 3175 Freeman Lane in Fallon.

Fallon Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lucy Carnahan will host the celebration. The chamber’s ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 12:30 p.m.

The event will include arts and crafts for children, live music featuring Steven Blais, fine art exhibits by local artists, snacks, and drinks.

Visitors can welcome the Stillwater refuge manager and tour the visitor center.
