With great sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of Darleen Joy Birdman, née Reafs, on August 10, 2026. Born at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi on November 13, 1945, Darleen was raised in Fallon, Nevada. Darleen was a lifelong schoolteacher and taught for many years in Clark County. She was a beautiful, generous, and thoughtful woman who loved people, pets, and the outdoors. She brought much happiness to those around her. She is survived by her daughter, Jodie, and brother, Ron. She will be laid to rest on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 8:40 a.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada, with her husband, Murray, who preceded her in death.
