Veritas Preparatory School is pleased to be Fallon's newest licensed private school. Veritas Prep is a classical Christian school for Kindergarten 4 through 8th-grade children that aims to prepare students for all of life through the timeless principles of classical education and the power of a transformed life in Christ.

The school has seven highly experienced teachers with an impressive combined 80+ years of teaching experience. Veritas cultivates an ethos that prizes truth, goodness, knowledge, and excellence as defined by God's Word, the Bible. Veritas Prep strives to challenge students academically while encouraging character qualities to aid them in their life pursuits.

The Veritas Prep community encourages life-long learning by enthusiastically approaching daily academics and participating in fun learning activities such as Hands-On History Night and education-based field trips. Veritas Prep families gather at events like the Leap Day Father-Daughter dance and the Road Rally Scavenger Hunt Family Advent Night. Consistent with classical education principles, Veritas students regularly have opportunities for public speaking and presenting at regular chapels or events, including Grandparents Showcase and Speech Meet.

Veritas Prep Headmaster Jill Rosario states, “The goal of education is virtue, nobility, and connection to what it is to be human. True education transcends just reading, writing, and arithmetic. True education results in students who read deeply, write effectively, and reason critically because it strives for a greater goal: valuing goodness, liberty, beauty, and truth. Our goal at Veritas Prep is to help raise a new generation who have the knowledge to impact their communities with goodness and truth, all for God's glory."

With strong enrollment numbers, Veritas Prep classes stand alone in grades K4, K5, 1st, and 2nd. Beginning in 3rd grade, they offer combination classes: 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th. They accept applications for all grades for the 2024-25 school year, although some classes are nearing capacity. Please contact the Veritas office at 665 Sheckler Rd or (775) 217-0069 or visit their website at veritasfallon.org for an application.

Veritas, a (501 c3), invites the community to its largest fundraiser of the year, Veritas Under the Stars, held on May 4 at the Oats Park Arts Center. Tax-deductible donations are currently being collected, allowing Veritas to continue to offer small class sizes, employ additional staff, and provide low program fees (EIN 93-1735958). Visit the Veritas office for ticket information.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud. Thank you Aunt for this sweet post.Comment publication date: 3/27/26, 12:11 AMComment source: Obituary -- Randolph Floris Banovich C Comment author: RBCComment text: The Navy should reimburse the market cost of replacing the grazing land they are taking.
