Love Fallon Kicks Off April 27

The Love Fallon volunteer organization is hosting a community-wide volunteer day on April 27, across the community.

Volunteers can participate by volunteering to pick up trash, wash first responder's cars, paint rocks, and all sorts of thoughtful projects.

Love Fallon, founded by Ashley Laca, is a non-profit organization that is part of a national organization called “Love Our Cities.” According to the Love Fallon website, they are a city-wide movement spreading love, peace, and prosperity by seeking and encouraging their fellow community members to be a part of giving back.

The idea is to hold the Love Fallon event annually, on the last Saturday of April, and organizers with invite the community to a volunteer day.

Loni Faught is involved in the JustServe.org organization and will be partnering with the Love Fallon event on April 27. She spoke about both organizations at the last County Commission meeting.

“Ashley Laca asked me to present to you and ask for your support for this community service event. We will be having the kickoff in Oats Park on April 27 at 8:30 and the disbursing to the various projects. Our financial sponsors so far are the Depot and the Pizza Barn.”

Also supporting the event is the City of Fallon, Oasis Community Church, Epworth United Methodist Church, Victory Baptist Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and JustServe.

“We are trying to get as many businesses and public figures involved as possible, so any help you can give us in getting the word out about this event would be wonderful,” Faught said.

Love Fallon offers various volunteer positions, such as writing affirmation cards for our community, showing teacher appreciation by making flower pens, making breakfast and cleaning up, landscape cleanup at the schools, painting rocks, and creating a city building mural.

Love Fallon is holding a “kick-off” at Oats Park on April 27 at 8:30 a.m., where volunteers will be dispersed to their chosen activities after a delicious pancake breakfast. To sign up, visit lovefallon.org and register under the projects page where you wish to participate.

Volunteering to serve the community benefits both individuals and society; it brings the community together to work towards a common goal: to better their environment, physically and emotionally.

Volunteer work revolves around environmental work and includes our social impact, helping animals, and volunteering in healthcare. Volunteering is about sharing space and creating relationships to assist each other in all ways possible. Volunteering is also about creating a safe, happy space for one another and fostering a sense of unity and togetherness. By supporting each other, we, as society members, can live in harmony and peace.

Love Fallon is the perfect opportunity to bring our community closer and show that we are whole together.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud. Thank you Aunt for this sweet post.Comment publication date: 3/27/26, 12:11 AMComment source: Obituary -- Randolph Floris Banovich C Comment author: RBCComment text: The Navy should reimburse the market cost of replacing the grazing land they are taking.
