Obituary - Edwin Henry Miers, Jr.
On April 27, 2019, God called Edwin Henry Miers Jr. home.  He was born in Jacksonville, Illinois on March 2, 1939 to Edwin Henry Miers Sr. and Pauline Bernice Miers.  In his 80 years of life, he loved unconditionally. He was known for his contagious laughter, warm hugs, words of wisdom, and open arms.  He had a genuine love for God, his family, and his country.  Although he will be greatly missed, his legacy lives on forever. Ed is preceded in death by his father Edwin Henry Miers Sr., his mother Pauline Bernice Miers, his Step-Mother Helen Miers, and his Younger Brother Richard Eugene Miers. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wilma Helen Miers, his five children; Dawn Neilson (Tennas) of Federal Way, Washington, Tad Miers (Martha) of Richland, Washington, Scott Miers of Fallon, Nevada, Marsh Miers (Maxine) of Elko, Nevada, DeLacy Trinidad of Fallon, Nevada; Grandchildren Jamee, Corinna, Cassee, Louisea, Zaira, Eric, Elvis, Tad Jr., Jezelle, Malinda, Kyle, Kevin, Elizabeth, Travis, Carmen, Meagan, and numerous Great and Great Great Grandchildren. Ed loved life dearly and fought valiantly to his very last breath.  In honor of his love for life, monetary donations can be sent to Care Net Pregnancy Care Center of Churchill County, 75 N. Ada Street, Fallon, Nevada 89406. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
