Movies & More -- The Historic Fallon Theatre

Movies & More -- The Historic Fallon Theatre

Thank you, Fallon, for the terrific turnout for the three great bands that played on Friday, February 11. Great music and a great time!

This week, Friday, February 25, we have a terrific Alfred Hitchcock movie for you starting at 6:30 p.m., the 1955 mystery romance film, “To Catch a Thief” starring Cary Grant and Grace Kelly. When a retired notorious cat burglar is accused of committing more burglaries, he sets out to prove his innocence and catch the thief.

Saturday, February 26 at 6 p.m. we have a great classic movie for you, the 1950 thriller “Panic in the Streets.” A doctor and a policeman in New Orleans have only 48 hours to locate a killer who is infected with pneumonic plague. This great movie stars Richard Widmark, Paul Douglas, and Zero Mostel. Our second movie that night, starting at 6:30 is the 2010 animated film “How to Train Your Dragon.” A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.  Voices provided by Jay Baruchel, American Ferrera, and Gerard Butler.

Please join us this weekend for these great movies. Admission is free.

Mark your calendars for March 4 as “The Coaches” rock the theatre again.

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
