Fallon Walmart Rolls Out Online Grocery Pickup

Fallon Walmart Rolls Out Online Grocery Pickup
The Fallon Walmart staff held a Ribbon Cutting event last week with the Fallon Chamber to celebrate their new Online Grocery Pickup. The Fallon Police Department, Churchill County Sheriff, and the Banner Churchill EMS were the first on hand to take advantage of the service, picking up food that they donated to the Out of Egypt Food Pantry. Fallon Walmart Manager, Dave Ford, spoke to a large crowd gathered at the new pickup site, located on the west side of the store. "I appreciate everyone coming out to help us celebrate an opening of a new era, a new technology and innovation that we're going to begin today," he said. "We opened the first store on West Williams in 1996 with 104,000 square feet of general merchandise, and then in February 2006 moved to this beautiful store and started selling groceries." said Ford. "Now here we are 13 years later and you can buy your groceries without even coming into the store." Ford said that curbside pickup getting a lot of appreciation across the country, with 2,700 Walmart stores now doing OGP. There are 4,700 Walmart stores in the U.S. "Imagine getting on your smartphone," he said, "buying all your groceries, picking up the kids from school, and then you drive up here and we'll bring your groceries right out to you." Ford thanked the OGP team, Jessica Zaval and Tony Clay, and their teams for the work to make this happen. "It's a big job and very particular, people are particular about their groceries and I appreciate all the learning you've done," he said. The regional marketing manager for the OGP was also on hand for the celebration, Jason Hoffman. He said, "I've launched 70 stores this past year and this has been the best community involvement I've seen and the best store involvement." According to Hoffman, the OGP created 15 new jobs at the Fallon store. Walmart provides health care benefits, and matches contributions to their 401K plan up to 6% of employee contributions. The OGP is open from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and can be accessed here: Order here Read more in The Fallon Post — go to the Home Page Read Sheriff Hickcox’s statement on the Second Amendment here: Sheriff Hickcox makes statement

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud. Thank you Aunt for this sweet post.Comment publication date: 3/27/26, 12:11 AMComment source: Obituary -- Randolph Floris Banovich C Comment author: RBCComment text: The Navy should reimburse the market cost of replacing the grazing land they are taking.
