On Wednesday, November 25, 2020 Clark H. Skinner, brother, loving father, and grandfather passed peacefully in Reno, Nevada.

Clark H Skinner was born in Cedar City, Utah on July 20, 1946.  Clark was the second son born to Florence Skinner.  Clark was raised in Fallon, Nevada but was always fond and proud to be from God’s country.  Clark graduated from Churchill County High School in 1964, after graduation. Clark served our Country in the US Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1967.   Clark then went to work in the Vegas area, delivering fuel and driving for Las Vegas Transfer & Storage.  Clark returned to Fallon, Nevada where his sons were raised. Clark made some lifelong friends and memories there. Clark worked at Churchill County Telephone for over 30 years, retiring to Washoe Valley with his partner for 30 years Gayle Cangiano. 

Clark loved his family.  Clark often spoke of the good ole days when Justin and Alan did High School Rodeo, Clark became dad to many of the Rodeo kids, local and afar.  Clark and his sons loved to hunt, camp, be in the mountains and loved spending time together.

Clark H Skinner was preceded in death by his parents Florence & WR Skinner, Brother Bud Skinner and sister in law Carolynn Skinner.  Clark is survived by his life partner Gayle Cangiano, brother Deon (Laurie) Skinner, of Idaho, sons Justin (Debbie) Skinner of Fernley, Alan (Tammy) Skinner of Eureka; Grandchildren: McKenzie (Andrew), Rebekah, Cammie, Ashley(David), Trenton(Morgan), David,   Amanda (Forrest), and John.  Great Grandchildren: DonnaMae, Brynlee, Aspen, JC and Lilly.  Nieces & nephews: Chali (Mike), Peyton. Deron, Ariel (Matt), Kimberly, Bailey and Dusty.

A graveside service will be in Cedar City, Utah; on December 3rd at 1:00pm. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 5th at 1:00 pm in Fallon, Nevada at Smith Family Funeral home.

The family would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to the Doctors, and nurses for their great care and compassion for Clark H Skinner.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all.
