Obituary -- Arlene I. Niles
Arlene Niles

It is with great sadness to let the world know that Arlene I. Niles, 75, passed away at her home in Silver Springs on August 7th. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

She was born and raised in Idaho. She moved to Nevada and has lived in Silver Springs for over 40 years. She worked for the postal service for many years. Upon retirement, she worked in nursing homes and home health care. She was always willing to help others.

Arlene enjoyed gardening and working around her property. She refused to become “old” and continued to saw wood, pull-down trees, and do home repairs like she always had in her younger years. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing. She really enjoyed playing bingo with her friends every week She also loved spending time with her grandson. During his visits, they would complete her lists of chores and then they would play pool and cards for hours.

Arlene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Angela and James of Fallon, her grandson Brandon, and her sisters; Sharon, Glenna, and Lova of Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents.

No services are planned at this time. We all love you grandma and will miss you. See you in the next life.

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
