Westbound Interstate 80 will be reduced to one lane on Sunday morning, Jan. 18, as the Nevada Department of Transportation repairs roadside guardrail damaged in a crash.
Westbound I-80 will be reduced to one lane between Lockwood and Mustang from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Jan. 18. Speed limits will also be reduced to 55 mph. Motorists are advised to give extra travel time and anticipate moderate delays. Eastbound Interstate lanes traveling from Reno/Sparks toward Fernley will not be impacted.
During this time, NDOT roadway maintenance staff will replace over 150 feet of roadside guardrail that was damaged in a crash. Crews have scheduled the work on a weekend to reduce impacts of weekday commuter traffic.
