The Fallon Junior High and High School Rodeo lit up the arena this past weekend as young competitors from across the region came to test their grit—and the hometown team did not disappoint. Fallon Rodeo Club members posted top tier finishes across multiple events, with several earning all-around honors.

In the High School Division, Brooke Allison roped a strong 2nd place finish in Goat Tying, Lauren Goings placed 8th in Team Roping, and Aubrey Flower claimed 10th in Pole Bending.

But it was the Junior High Division where Fallon truly shined. Stix Lee turned in a powerhouse performance, finishing 2nd Overall with wins in Tie-Down Roping, runner-up in Boys Goat Tying, 3rd in Team Roping, and 4th in both Chute Dogging and Ribbon Roping.

Right beside him in the standings was Stella Lee, who also finished 2nd Overall, placing in nearly every event she entered. Stella snagged 3rd in Barrel Racing, 4th in Ribbon Roping, Girls Breakaway, and Pole Bending, 5th in Team Roping, and 9th in Girls Goat Tying.

Clayton Hiibel earned 6th Overall, highlighted by a 3rd-place finish in Chute Dogging and Team Roping, 4th in Boys Breakaway, and solid top-six finishes in Boys Goat Tying and Ribbon Roping.

Megan Allison tied it all together with a strong 6th Overall finish and a 1st place win in Girls Goat Tying.

Roughstock rider Rostin Snow rode his way into 9th Overall, with a first-place victory in Bareback Riding and 2nd in Bull Riding. Wyatt Greenwood took 10th Overall, with 2nd in Boys Breakaway, 5th in Ribbon Roping, and 9th in Boys Goat Tying. Chloe Kent also placed 10th Overall, with standout performances in Pole Bending (2nd) and Girls Goat Tying (6th).

And in the bulls, Zachary Greenberg made his mark with a 3rd place finish in Bull Riding.

With these results, the Fallon Rodeo Club continues to show why it's one of the state's toughest and most talented teams. From speed events to rough stock, these athletes are building skills, confidence, and community in and out of the arena.

I honestly can’t believe you are gone…..you were a wonderful human being, with a HUGE heart and soul. Hearing this makes my heart break! You are forever in our hearts, and I can say I feel blessed that I was able to know you! Who and what they REALLY were. Because they were devotional and IMPORTANT to the humans they connected with. The content of their life bled so that others could feel their own life’s importance. Teachers of justifiable life and art. That all can absorb and use as the best fertilizer for THEIR lives. Giving the silent secrets and the loud guidance. The Melon Man was a perfect specimen for how to devote. His passing meant a life book of feeling/knowing what gives other humans their paths to Love and Knowledge. Some humans are meant to show others their paths. And in that they secrete ways to profitably exist.Comment publication date: 3/18/26, 4:50 PMComment source: In memorium -- The Melon Man
