Logos Celebrates Reading and 100 Days of School

Logos Celebrates Reading and 100 Days of School

Logos joined schools across the country to celebrate Read Across America Week. The week was packed with dress-up days and special events, showing students just how fun reading can be.

On "Green Eggs and Ham" Day, Mrs. Nyranda's kindergarten class invited their first and second-grade friends to share a whimsical feast of—you guessed it—green eggs and ham. One of the most memorable characters was eighth-grader Maddie, who wowed everyone with her Lorax costume, complete with a fluffy Truffula tree. Her creativity brought Dr. Seuss's beloved character to life.

Wacky Wednesday cranked up the fun even more with mismatched socks, wild hairstyles, and plenty of giggles.

In the midst of all this excitement, Logos also marked the 100th day of school—a milestone that left many wondering where the time went. Students and staff had fun dressing up as centenarians or in outfits inspired by 100 years ago, embracing the theme with enthusiasm.

The day was packed with hands-on activities to celebrate. Kindergarteners eagerly threaded 100 Fruit Loops onto necklaces, with help from special guest Mrs. Heath, practicing their counting by tens along the way. Meanwhile, Mrs. Jeana's class took on the challenge of counting out 100 of all kinds of things—from bright crayons to tiny granules of sugar—sharing their collections with the whole school.

"Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge." Proverbs 23:12

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
