As part of our ongoing commitment to providing accessible entertainment, Fallon Theatre—your local non-profit movie theater and community center—will be showing two great free films this weekend. Whether you’re a fan of classic cinema or modern hits, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in downtown Fallon, where you can also explore charming local shops, enjoy a delicious meal at nearby restaurants, or unwind at a cozy speakeasy.

First off, join us for a heartwarming journey with An American Tail, the beloved animated classic that follows the story of Fievel Mousekewitz, a young mouse who embarks on an adventurous quest to reunite with his family in America. With its unforgettable songs, charming characters, and powerful themes of perseverance and hope, this film is perfect for audiences of all ages. Don’t miss the chance to experience this timeless family favorite on the big screen, Friday and Saturday at 6:00pm! This film is rated G and has a runtime of 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Then get ready for a thrilling adventure with The Goonies, the iconic 1985 classic that follows a group of misfit kids as they embark on a treasure hunt to save their parents’ homes from foreclosure. Filled with action, laughs, and heart, The Goonies is a nostalgic ride that’s perfect for both kids and adults. Gather your friends and family and join us Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm for an unforgettable night of swashbuckling fun! This PG-rated film runs for 1 hour and 54 minutes.

While we regret to inform you that our Heritage of the West event, scheduled for Saturday, April 5th, has been cancelled, we’re thrilled to announce that The Lincoln Highway Band will be performing that evening with a full concert starting at 7:00pm. Known for their lively performances and diverse mix of music—from country and rock to classic hits from the '50s—this promises to be an unforgettable evening.

Looking ahead to May, we’re thrilled to welcome Head Over Feet, a talented Alanis Morissette tribute band, to the stage on May 5th at 7:00pm. Fans of '90s alternative rock and Morissette’s unmistakable style won’t want to miss this evening of unparalleled music and powerful vocals. Admission is just $15, so please plan to join us for a night of incredible music!

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
