Labor Day Pre-Parade Rotary Breakfast

Labor Day Pre-Parade Rotary Breakfast
Members of Boy Scout Troop 1776 ate breakfast before helping Rotary Club of Fallon members clean up after the annual Labor Day pancake breakfast.

The Rotary Club of Fallon continued its Labor Day pre-parade tradition Sept. 7 with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast in the dirt lot next to the Churchill County Library.

Rotary members served pancakes, sausage, eggs, fresh fruit, coffee, and milk from 7 to 10 a.m. Adult meals cost $10, while children ages 12 and younger ate for free, courtesy of the City of Fallon. Proceeds supported Rotary scholarships and youth programs.

Momma’s Meat Company and Louie’s Ace Home Center provided donations for the breakfast.

Members of Boy Scout Troop 1776 helped clean up after the breakfast. Before helping Rotary members, the Scouts displayed American flags at local homes and businesses as part of the troop’s holiday flag subscription fundraiser.
