The swearing in ceremony for newly elected officials for Churchill County took place on January 6, at the County Commission meeting. Taking their oath of office were Matt Hyde, Commission District 1; Eric Blakey, Commission District 3; Judge Ben Trotter, Justice of the Peace New River Justice Court; Churchill County School District Board of Trustees, Wendy Bullock, Gregg Malkovich, Kathryn Whitaker, and Celeste Blakey; Mosquito, Weed, & Vector Abatement District, Marion Jonte and David Brown.
