Movies and More October 18 and 19

Movies and More October 18 and 19

This is the weekend many of you have been waiting for, and the all-volunteer staff at your Fallon Theatre is super excited to bring two of the best Halloween movie experiences to town. Join them this Friday and Saturday for “Hocus Pocus” and “The Lost Boys.”

The beloved 1993 dark fantasy fairy tale “Hocus Pocus” plays at 6 p.m. both evenings and tells the story of a teenage boy named Max and his little sister, Dani, who move to Salem, Massachusetts. They accidentally awaken a trio of diabolical witches, and chaos ensues during Halloween night. This film is rated PG and has a runtime of 1 hour and 36 minutes.

The iconic supernatural teen horror “The Lost Boys” will be showing at 7 p.m. on both evenings. When a recently divorced mother and her two teenage boys move to a coastal town to stay with her father, it doesn’t take long for the brothers to realize the area is a haven for something sinister. This movie is rated R for moderate scary and intense scenes with violence and gore, along with mild moments of sex, nudity, profanity, smoking, and drinking. The movie has a runtime of 1 hour and 37 minutes.

Next week, plan to join the fun with “Casper,” “Halloween,” and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” on October 25 and 26, plus the downtown Maine Street Spooktacular on Thursday, October 31, for tons of safe Trick-or-Treating.

Then, in November, listen to Lee Hardin on stage for live comedy on November 15 and Steve & Raena performing their music live on November 23.

Check out the full schedule of movies and events at www.fallontheatre.com, on Facebook, or  Instagram.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud. Thank you Aunt for this sweet post.Comment publication date: 3/27/26, 12:11 AMComment source: Obituary -- Randolph Floris Banovich C Comment author: RBCComment text: The Navy should reimburse the market cost of replacing the grazing land they are taking.
