Greenwave Sports

Varsity Baseball is now 16-4 overall and 14-4 in conference play after last weekend’s games. They played at Lowry Friday and won 14-2 then won a doubleheader on Saturday 10-0 and 19-3. The JV team has a record of 14-1 overall and in conference play. They beat Lowry at home in a Saturday doubleheader 9-0 and 10-0.

The Varsity Softball team is now 18-5 overall and 11-1 in conference play. Last Friday they defeated Lowry 4-2 then won both sides of a doubleheader on Saturday 7-4 and 7-4. The JV squad is now 4-4 overall and in conference play. They lost a doubleheader at home to Lowry last Saturday 17-7 and 21-3.

Bighorn Sports

The Oasis Bighorn Varsity Baseball team sits at 10-3 overall. They don’t play again until Friday at home against Pershing County (Lovelock) in a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. Varsity Softball is 8-4 overall and in conference play after defeating Smith Valley last Tuesday 21-11 and 12-1. They next play a doubleheader on Saturday at 11 at home against Yerington’s Sierra Sage Academy.

More Racing in Fallon This Weekend

Top Gun Dragstrip is running its first weekend of racing this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Test and Tune starts at 10 a.m. on Friday, points race #1 is Saturday at 9 a.m., and points race #2 is Sunday at 9 a.m.
