Two Arrested after Narcotic Search Warrant

On August 31, 2021, the Nevada Department of Public Safety- Investigation Division’s North Central Narcotic Task Force (NCNTF) conducted a joint operation with the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office, Fallon Police Department, Nevada Department of Public Safety - Parole and Probation Division in Fallon, Nevada in relation to an ongoing narcotics investigation.

 

During this investigation, Donald Dike and Jean Oxford were identified as distributing methamphetamine from their room at the Budget Inn, 60 S. Allen Road, Fallon, Nevada. Both Donald Dike and Jean Oxford were subsequently arrested for numerous narcotics-related offenses to include Possession with Intent to Sell, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Operate a Place for Sales of Controlled Substances.

 

A residential search warrant was executed at Dike and Oxford's room at the Budget Inn. This search warrant resulted in the location of approximately 45 grams of Methamphetamine, cocaine, numerous prescription medications, and indicia of sales. As this investigation is ongoing, no other information can be released at this time.

 

The NCNTF is comprised of investigators from the Nevada Department of Public Safety-Investigation Division, Fallon Police Department, and the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office.

 

“This joint operation represented a coordinated law enforcement effort to combat the distribution and accessibility of illegal drugs in Churchill County. This case, along with several others that have been conducted recently, shows that Methamphetamine and other narcotics still pose a threat to our community. To those that are distributing narcotics in Churchill County, you will be held accountable,” said the NCNTF Supervisor.
