Logos Christian Academy - January News
Logos students showed their school spirit last Friday! Thank you UPLIFT!

Thoughts from the Headmaster

It’s National School Choice Week! We are so pleased to be able to offer Logos Christian Academy as a choice to our Fallon community, delivering a quality classical Christian education for students in Pre-K through 8th grade. If you’ve been pleased with your child’s educational journey at Logos, we appreciate you passing on a good word as we begin gearing up for our 2021-2022 school year enrollment.

As we are wrapping up this school year and planning for next, we value your input, both positives and suggestions, to help us know how we are doing! Please watch for the bright pink paper in your child’s folder today. We would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete the Logos Parent Survey and return it to school in the attached envelope by Friday, February 5.

Your child’s 2nd quarter report card will be mailed home this next week for Grades K-8. Pre-K Progress Reports will be sent home with students. Please check in with your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.

Blessings, Pam Duarte

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
