City Announces Re-Opening of Certain City Facilities

Fallon, Nev. – The City of Fallon announced today that, in accordance with Governor Sisolak’s Emergency Directive 021, the City-County Gym and Oats Park Gym will reopen on Saturday, May 30th. The City-County Gym will be open seven days a week for open gym with restrictions and limited capacity from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. The Oats Park Gym will be available with restrictions and limited capacity by reservation only.

The City also announce that the Outdoor Pool will be opening on Saturday, June 13th. The pool will be open seven days a week with restrictions and limited capacity with open swim from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The pool will be closed for cleaning and disinfection from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. daily. Swim lessons will not be offered at this time, but the City looks forward to offering swim lessons in future re-opening phases.

All of these facilities will be properly cleaned and disinfected throughout the day in accordance with CDC and state protocols and may be closed without notice if necessary.

“We are excited to re-open these important City recreation facilities and to do so in a manner that will continue to protect the health of safety of everyone enjoying them,” said Mayor Ken Tedford. “While the experience may be a bit different, especially at first, we are confident that these facilities will provide safe and enjoyable opportunities for our community to begin the return to normal.
