During the month of September, 2024, ETI Corral 14 plans to host a 60-mile wagon drive from Lovelock to Fallon, Nevada. The drive will follow the Carson portion of the California Emigrant Trail, including a portion of the forty Mile Desert that was used by pioneers in the mid-1800s. This wagon drive was recreated in the mid-1990s by Bill Adams but has not been done for many years.

Participants will arrive at the Lovelock Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 14, Sunday the group will shuttle vehicles to an offsite location where they will remain for the week. The wagon train will leave Monday morning and arrive in Fallon Friday afternoon. The drive will end on Saturday morning, September 21. Each day’s drive will be approximately 15 miles. Wednesday will be a layover day.

This drive will be patterned after the Corral 14 Death Valley wagon drive. Visit Corral14.com to see pictures from past years. Wagons and outriders are welcome. This trip requires experienced driving animals in proper physical condition. Everyone must bring their own food, prepare their own meals and sleep in their wagons or tents. Animals must be staked out and there will be support vehicles to carry water, livestock feed, a freezer for meals, and portable toilets.

To be added to the Fearful Crossing information email distribution list, contact Jeanette Hayhurst at [email protected] for more information.

Who and what they REALLY were. Because they were devotional and IMPORTANT to the humans they connected with. The content of their life bled so that others could feel their own life’s importance. Teachers of justifiable life and art. That all can absorb and use as the best fertilizer for THEIR lives. Giving the silent secrets and the loud guidance. The Melon Man was a perfect specimen for how to devote. His passing meant a life book of feeling/knowing what gives other humans their paths to Love and Knowledge. Some humans are meant to show others their paths. And in that they secrete ways to profitably exist.Comment publication date: 3/18/26, 4:50 PMComment source: In memorium -- The Melon Man
