This week we’re sending out a huge thank-you to everyone who laced up their sneakers for our annual Cantaloupe Canter 5K at the end of August. Your record-breaking turnout directly supports our historic theatre, and we couldn't be more grateful. As summer cools off, things are just heating up here on our big screens. Fall is right around the corner, and we have an incredible lineup of events planned for the "-ber" months ahead, so stay tuned.

At 6 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, bring the whole family along as we return to the bustling animal metropolis in "Zootopia 2" (2025). Rookie rabbit officer Judy Hopps and her clever fox partner Nick Wilde are back on the beat, tackling an all-new mystery that sends them undercover into uncharted corners of the city. Filled with vibrant animation and a whole new cast of colorful creatures, it is a fun, heartwarming ride for moviegoers of all ages. Rated PG, it runs 1 hour, 48 minutes.

Or at 7 p.m. both nights, step back into the ’80s for the ultimate dark high school comedy, "Heathers" (1988). Winona Ryder stars as Veronica, a teenager navigating the ruthless social hierarchy of Westerburg High, ruled by a cruel clique of three girls all named Heather. When Veronica meets the rebellious, mysterious new kid J.D. (Christian Slater), their anti-establishment antics quickly escalate into a wild, satirical crusade against the school's popular elite. Packed with sharp wit and endlessly iconic lines, it remains a towering benchmark of modern cult cinema. Rated R, it runs 1 hour, 43 minutes.

And please plan to join us for a cruise down memory lane on Saturday, Sept. 26, for our 10th annual Show-N-Shine. We’re shutting down Maine Street starting at 9 a.m. for a morning of beautiful classic cars, good food, music, and community fun. Free for the public to attend, it's the perfect family outing. Car owners can register a vehicle for $45 ($30 per additional entry), which includes a goody bag and raffle entry. Plus, this year marks the debut of our new "Best of Show" perpetual trophy, to be proudly displayed in the Fallon Theatre lobby. In October, step with us into the world of bugs with Flik and friends for a fully immersive, one-weekend-only 4D movie experience with "A Bug’s Life" on Oct. 2 and 3. This family-friendly event features a fully decorated theatre, themed treats, and sensory special effects, with interactive 4D screenings on Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. (evening doors open at 5 p.m.). Tickets are already halfway sold out, and since these 4D events always sell out completely, reserve your seats now through the link on our website or Facebook page. Your $5 reservation fee goes directly toward restoring our historic front facade. Prefer the traditional movie? Standard screenings (no special effects or reservations required) run Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

In November, gear up for a night of pure laughter on Friday, Nov. 20, at 7 p.m. as clean, family-friendly stand-up comedy returns to the Fallon Theatre. We are thrilled to welcome Nashville-based comedian Lee Hardin (DryBar Comedy, "The Mike Huckabee Show") back to our stage for an evening of warm, relatable humor the whole family can enjoy. Tickets are $20, but you can snag an Early Bird Discount of $5 off until Sept. 1, or grab a Double Date Discount to get four tickets for the price of two. Grab your seats early and join us for a great night out right here in your favorite historic theatre.
