CCHS Student Intern Update - Carter McBee

CCHS’s School-to-Careers spotlight student this week is Carter McBee. Carter is a junior and in his second year of the local business intern program. He began interning last year with Fallon Glass and this year he is working with J and K Llamas Landscape & Nursery.  Carter, who may have found his calling, who is excited to be learning about landscape technologies. When program director Dr. Sue Segura asked him what he like best about the internship, he replied, “Everything."  Carter is enrolled in classes at that directly relate to his Career Pathway.  Jamie Sammons, his Plant Sciences teacher at CCHS said of Carter, " With his attention to detail and inquisitive nature, Carter is a natural green thumb. I'm absolutely convinced he could run the greenhouses by himself and so grateful the high school has such a cool place for students like him to grow and thrive.”
