At the December 15 meeting, County Commissioners recognized two county employees and three citizens willing to serve their community.

Honored for their years of service to this community were:

Each quarter, the Commissioners present plaques and lapel pins to employees for every five years of service to our local community. The next quarterly recognition event will be at the Commissioners’ meeting on March 16, 2022.

Three women selected to serve on the Cemetery Board were sworn in by Deputy Clerk Pam Moore. Hillary “Page” Hiskett, Julie Gilmore and Jaime Sammons took their oath and will serve four-year, three-year, and two-year terms, respectively.
