Fisk Farm Herbs Expands With New Production Kitchen

Fisk Farm Herbs has expanded from its small farm operation along the Carson River to a dedicated bottling and production kitchen at 960 Auction Road, Suite D, in Fallon. Owners Stacy and Brad Fisk celebrated the expansion Oct. 13 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Fallon Chamber of Commerce.

The family-owned business grows more than 75 varieties of culinary and wellness herbs and maintains an apiary at its farm on Alcorn Road. Its products include fresh-cut and dried herbs, honey, and a specialty line of drinking vinegars called Honey Shrubs.

Made with raw apple cider vinegar, fruit, herbs, and Northern Nevada honey, Honey Shrubs can be used in beverages, salad dressings, marinades, and other recipes.

The expansion marks another step in the growth of Fisk Farm Herbs. In 2021, Stacy Fisk was selected for Nevada’s Farm2Food Accelerator program, an initiative designed to help specialty crop producers develop products and reach new markets.

The business has since developed Honey Shrubs into a signature product line, with a separate website devoted to the products.

The new kitchen provides a dedicated location for bottling and production. Products are available by appointment or through online ordering for local pickup. Fisk Farm Herbs also participates in farmers markets and local seasonal events.
