There is still time to get tickets for this exciting new Fallon event and support the WNC Fallon Campus.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to meet the current needs in the nursing lab, the auto and welding shops, lighting in the art gallery, and to improve the Interactive Video equipment that allows for distance education.
Holly O’Toole is the Director of the Fallon campus, and she along with Angela Viera, the support specialist at the Fallon campus and their committee are deep in preparations. “We want to support all the programs to meet their needs,” said O’Toole, “and this fundraiser will help us with the needs of each of these programs to participate and serve the community better.”
“We also need to host student events that will help more of a student-life experience,” said O’Toole, “and this will also provide for scholarships for Fallon students.”
The 1st Annual “Friends of Western” Benefit Fundraiser is presented this year by Manpower and the Nugget/Bonanza Casinos. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 or a table of eight is $385 and can be purchased by contacting Viera at [email protected] or 775-423-7565.
The dinner will be held at the Fallon Convention Center and is catered by the Courtyard Cafe. There will be a raffle and many auction items generously donated by the local community.

Comment text: We called the cops on this kid SEVERAL times when he was not even a teenager. The Churchill sheriff kept letting him off. I remember telling him that if he didn’t hold him accountable then, he’d wind up in prison. I was right
