Fallon Trap Club Hosts P.I.T.A. Shoot

The Fallon Trap Club hosted the Nevada State shoot for the Pacific International Trapshooting Association (PITA) on May 14 - 16 at their 2007 Airport Road facility in Fallon. Adult and junior shooters from Fallon Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho, and Washington competed in the three-day event that began with preliminary shoots on Friday, leading into the Championship shoot on Saturday and Sunday.

The 200 Bird Singles, an all-ages event took place on Saturday with 132 shooters competing. Todd Delong of Winnemucca won by scoring 196 out of a possible 200. The Sunday Doubles event had 118 shooters in competition, with Mike Schotel of Lovelock winning the event by scoring 97 out of 100 points. The Handicap event, also held on Sunday, was won by junior shooter Alexis Haggard who scored 93 out of 100 points. The high All-around Junior Champion was Matthew Ernest with a score of 358 out of 400, and Broden Pirkle claimed the Sub-junior Champion title with a score of 355 out of 400.

WHEN WILL THEY HAVE THE INFO ABOUT THE pita state trapshoot in Fallon? May 19th thru the 21st?

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all.
