Gordon Dwayne Fletcher II (36) appeared in New River Township Justice Court before Judge Ben Trotter via Zoom from the Churchill County Detention Center on Tuesday, April 13.
Fletcher was arraigned on three charges involving sexual offenses in which the victim is a minor. The charges against Fletcher include: (1) Luring or Attempting to Lure a Child or Mentally Ill Person to Engage in Sexual Conduct, a Category B Felony that can carry up to 15 years in prison. (2) Lewdness with a Child Under the Age of 14, a first offense and a Category A Felony punishable by life in prison with the possibility of parole after ten years. (3) Use or Permit a Minor, Under Age 14, to Produce Pornography, a Category A Felony that also carries life in prison with the possibility of parole.
Judge Trotter assigned the Churchill County Public Defender’s Office to represent Fletcher. A status hearing was set for Thursday, April 15, in Justice Court.
