Local COVID data update

Churchill County staff have provided the most recent COVID data, saying there are currently nine people testing positive for the virus as of March 26, and one person is hospitalized.

A total of 22,792 COVID tests have been administered since last March, with Churchill County experiencing 1,954 positive cases. Of those, 1,896 have recovered and 49 community members have died.

The Churchill County COVID response team continues community testing at the Fairgrounds, as well as a Vaccine POD (Point of Delivery) Clinic on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
