Latest Update for School Starting

Teacher Assignments and MS/HS Schedules:  All teacher assignments and course assignments for Term 1 can be found online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Parent Portal Link Here

Kindergarten:  Kindergarten teacher should have been in contact with parents late last week regarding the screenings to take place this week (August 25th - 29th). Please remember that the first official day of Kindergarten in person will be on August 31st.

First Day Procedures:  Teachers at the elementary and middle school will be greeting students on the first day to help them get to class. Please DO NOT arrive more than five minutes early as there will not  be supervision for children before that time and no recesses will be held before the AM or PM sessions begin.

Health and Safety:  All students in Kindergarten through 12th grade (for Pre-Kindergarten students it is  highly recommended) and ALL staff must wear cloth face coverings. Parents are encouraged to help their child practice between now and Tuesday. Start having our children wear a mask for 20-30 minutes in the morning and 20-30 minutes in the afternoon to get used to the feel of the mask, work on habits such as not touching face, etc. The guidelines for social distancing are 3 ft. for students and 6 ft. for staff and other adults. We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
