The Churchill County School Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday evening beginning at 5:30 PM in the in the virtual platform of GoToWebinar.

In addition to their regularly scheduled items, trustees will consider New Business that includes:

  • Approval of Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan. Any and every line item in the Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan may be discussed and changed. Presenters: Ms. Phyllys Dowd, Director of Business Services, and Mr. Kenny Mitchell, Director of Transportation/Safety
  • For Discussion and Possible Action: Presentation regarding the Board of Trustee’s practice hearing proposed policy changes and adoptions twice before final approval. Approval of revisions to Policy 9000, Policy Formulation and Adoption, to allow for policy changes and adoptions in exigent circumstances with just one hearing. Presenters: Dr. Stephens and Ms. Hales, District's Legal Counsel
  • For Discussion and Possible Action: Approval of Temporary Policy through December 2020, P4146.1, Temporary Emergency Family and Medical Leave, to comply with the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Presenters: Sharla Hales, Legal Counsel
  • For Discussion and Possible Action: Approval of Temporary Policy through December 2020, P4146.2, Temporary Emergency Paid Leave, to comply with the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act. Presenter: Mr. Kevin Lords, Director of Human Resources
