Nevada Health Response Center Launches new resource

Nevada Health Response Center Launches new resource
Information provided by the Nevada Health Response Center Public Information Officer, Meghin Delaney The Nevada Health Response Center (NHRC) announced a new feature launched today on NVHealthResponse.nv.gov. The COVID-19 Dashboard, developed by Nevada’s Department of Health and Human Services Office of Analytics, includes valuable information on testing and COVID-19 cases in Nevada which can be assessed from one central location. “I am proud of our state’s strong partnerships which allowed us to gather the data that the Office of Analytics has used to create this comprehensive tool,” said State Epidemiologist Melissa Peek-Bullock. “The COVID-19 dashboard will provide much-needed updates and information on individuals who have been tested which benefits all Nevada communities as we strive to mitigate the spread of this illness.” The page will be updated with new numbers daily, Tuesday through Saturday, which aligns with nationwide updates posted to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention site. The dashboard can be found on the main page of the Nevada Health Response website along with updates and information on Nevada’s response to COVID-19. Note on test results:  This data changes rapidly as labs conduct tests and discover new cases. The numbers may not always match the most recent reports released by local health jurisdictions since statewide cases will be updated once daily Tuesday through Saturday. Additionally, these are laboratory-based data which may reflect some results on patients that live outside of Nevada. Those cases will be removed once the epidemiological investigation is performed.       Sign up to receive updates and the Friday File email notices. The memories remain of a soft-spoken, seemingly unassuming but determined individual who absolutely knew what path she wanted to take in life, and followed it. Her instinctive reactions, which highlighted her steadfast level of love and caring for her family, friends and all living things found in nature, hold lessons for us all. An unexpected splash of her self-deprecating humor, coupled with uncanny timing, will always bring a smile. For me, Marie lives on in the sighting of a Black-crowned night heron in the tules, the bloom of a beautiful spring flower and, most poetically, in the struggle of wildlife photographers handling their very large camera lenses. Her dad Ted was my dad's brother. I never knew Ted or Betty, but I wish I did. I am 73 and live in IL. I am building my family tree and see where Betty has fit in. Blessings to you Curt and family.
