Fallon DMV Office to Move

New facility boasts many improvements —  The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles will be moving its field services branch office in Fallon over the weekend of December 7 and 8, 2019. The current location is at 973 W. Williams Ave. The new location is at 2147 W. Williams Ave., which is the former Country Health store at Stillwater Plaza. The DMV has leased the new space for 10 years. The main reasons for the move are: ·   More vehicle parking for customers ·   A room dedicated to written testing ·   Newly renovated space with brighter décor and custom built technician counters ·   The building comes with a full service lease. All utility costs and janitorial services are included. DMV no longer has to negotiate and manage separate contracts. The DMV is planning to open at the new location on Monday, December 9. The Department encourages Fallon residents to use its alternate services when possible. Many transactions, such as registration renewals or address changes, can be completed on the Internet or by mail. Visit the DMV web site at dmvnv.com.
