Clear Path Healthcare recently partnered with the Fallon Chamber of Commerce to help restock the Fallon Cares box, donating food and personal care items for residents who need assistance.

Owners Martina and Tony Jacovino, joined by their grandson, Julian, helped replenish the community pantry outside the Chamber office. The donation box, formerly known as the Karma Box, operates on a simple principle: take what you need and leave what you can.

The Fallon Cares program provides free nonperishable food, hygiene products and other essentials. Additional community boxes are located in the lobby of the Churchill County Sheriff's Office and outside the Wolf Center.

Clear Path Healthcare opened its Fallon office earlier this year and provides in-home care services for seniors and others who need assistance with daily living. Services include personal care, companionship, respite care, post-hospital recovery support and dementia care.

Community members wishing to support the Fallon Cares program may donate nonperishable food, hygiene products and other approved items at any of the three community boxes.

Comment author: Patti Cole Comment text: Marie will be forever treasured in memories. The memories remain of a soft-spoken, seemingly unassuming but determined individual who absolutely knew what path she wanted to take in life, and followed it. Her instinctive reactions, which highlighted her steadfast level of love and caring for her family, friends and all living things found in nature, hold lessons for us all. An unexpected splash of her self-deprecating humor, coupled with uncanny timing, will always bring a smile. For me, Marie lives on in the sighting of a Black-crowned night heron in the tules, the bloom of a beautiful spring flower and, most poetically, in the struggle of wildlife photographers handling their very large camera lenses. Her dad Ted was my dad's brother. I never knew Ted or Betty, but I wish I did. I am 73 and live in IL. I am building my family tree and see where Betty has fit in. Blessings to you Curt and family.
