High Desert Vitality, Body In Knead Celebrate Joint Ribbon Cutting

High Desert Vitality and Body In Knead celebrated a joint ribbon-cutting ceremony July 24 at 40 E. Center St., Suite 12, welcoming community members and Chamber of Commerce representatives to mark the opening of the two businesses.

Fallon Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lucy Carnahan hosted the ceremony, recognizing both businesses during the shared celebration.

High Desert Vitality is led by Kim Padilla, an advanced practice registered nurse with more than 14 years of health care experience. The clinic specializes in hormone therapy, men's and women's health, weight management, and personalized wellness programs designed to meet each patient's individual health goals.

Padilla develops individualized care plans based on each patient's medical history and health concerns. Services include hormone optimization, peptide therapy, vitamin injections, treatment for chronic fatigue, and support for patients experiencing perimenopause and menopause symptoms.

High Desert Vitality operates on a self-pay membership model rather than accepting health insurance. Membership fees vary based on each patient's individual health needs. Padilla said she opened the clinic after recognizing a need for personalized wellness care focused on restoring balance, improving mood, increasing strength, and supporting healthy aging.

Body In Knead, owned by Molly McClure, also celebrated its opening during the joint ribbon-cutting ceremony. Operating from the same location, the massage therapy practice offers therapeutic, relaxation, and medical massage services tailored to individual clients. According to the Fallon Chamber of Commerce business directory, the practice focuses on pain relief, stress reduction, and services for veterans.

Both businesses were recognized during the Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony at 40 E. Center St., Suite 12.

Comment author: Patti Cole Comment text: Marie will be forever treasured in memories. The memories remain of a soft-spoken, seemingly unassuming but determined individual who absolutely knew what path she wanted to take in life, and followed it. Her instinctive reactions, which highlighted her steadfast level of love and caring for her family, friends and all living things found in nature, hold lessons for us all. An unexpected splash of her self-deprecating humor, coupled with uncanny timing, will always bring a smile. For me, Marie lives on in the sighting of a Black-crowned night heron in the tules, the bloom of a beautiful spring flower and, most poetically, in the struggle of wildlife photographers handling their very large camera lenses.
