Four teams emerged as pool champions at the Greenwave Pickleball Tournament, held June 13 as a fundraiser for the Lady Wave basketball program.

Sweet and Spicy Pickle Pals won Pool A, while M & T Dink Co. captured the Pool B title. Purry Kittens finished first in Pool C, and Double Trouble topped Pool D.

The tournament drew 21 teams competing in beginner, intermediate, and advanced divisions.

Matches were played at the Churchill County High School auxiliary gym, the Venturacci City/County Gym, and the Oats Park pickleball courts.

Proceeds from the event will support Lady Wave basketball activities and expenses throughout the year.
