Our beloved mom, Rose Mary Bianchi, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on Oct. 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Rose was a proud mother of five children: Brandy Haeseker, Ely (Jenny) Urbina, Timothy (Lauren) Bianchi, Joshua (Evelyn) Bianchi, and Alecia Bianchi. She was also a stepmother to Robert Bianchi, Felicia (Curt) Bönner-Conklin, Shelli (Randy) Buchanan, and Carl Bonner. She was also a very proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren, and a great-grandmother to three and another great-grandchild on the way. Her grandchildren were her biggest joy; she cherished them.
A lifelong resident of Fallon, Nevada, she retired at the age of 64. Rose was dedicated to work in retail management. She was loving, kind, and compassionate. She was a giver; if she could help, she found a way. Rose was one of the strongest, most independent, hardworking women. As a single mother, she didn’t quit. Two years ago, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She did two rounds of chemo and one round of radiation and still wanted to keep on fighting. She started her third round of chemo when the health team decided to throw in the towel because it was too much on her body.
Rose found joy in simple things. This was her passion: sewing, coloring, drawing, making wind chimes, jewelry, crafting, baking, dancing, playing jokes, rocks and gardening in the yard, thrift store shopping, watching movies with her grandbabies, listening to music, celebrating Christmas and Halloween. She adored babysitting her grandbabies, Tracy (Klacee) and Kevin (Kayzen) Green. These simple moments were filled with laughter, hugs, and unconditional love. She created memories that will be treasured and passed down through generations.
Rose was strong and willing to be present for the important moments in the grandchildren’s lives. Whether it was a sporting event, school activity, graduation, or family gathering.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Urbina and Emma Amaral, and her brother, Tom Urbina. She is survived by her brother Steven (Lynn) Urbina, sister Barbara (Bill) Jones, Teresa Coutinho, Teresa (Shamo) Brown, children, and grandchildren, after losing her battle with cancer.
Rose will be remembered for her hardworking spirit and unconditional love for her family. She lived a life of loving and helping others, and many people she touched will carry her memory in their hearts.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love will live on through generations.
