Grammy-Winning Artist Gaby Moreno Brings Soul and Style to Oats Park

Fallon’s Oats Park Art Center will come alive with an international flair on Saturday, November 22, when Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning artist Gaby Moreno takes the stage at 7:00 p.m. in the Barkley Theatre.

A native of Guatemala, Moreno has built a devoted following around the world for her ability to move effortlessly between folk, blues, and Latin soul, singing in both English and Spanish with the kind of warmth that feels like an invitation. Her performances shimmer with authenticity, weaving stories of love, identity, and hope through melodies that linger long after the last note fades.

Over the years, Moreno has collaborated with legends from Van Dyke Parks to Jackson Browne and earned a reputation as one of the most versatile and expressive voices in contemporary music. Her concerts are known for their intimacy and energy, a mix of virtuosity and joy that turns even the largest halls into living rooms filled with friends.

Before the show, doors open at 6:00 p.m., giving concertgoers a chance to grab a drink at the Art Bar and explore two new gallery exhibitions: Cataloging the Ethereal by Megan Berner and Rossitza Todorova, and The Honeycomb Project.

Tickets are $20 for Churchill Arts Council members and $25 for non-members, available online at churchillarts.org or in person during gallery hours (Wednesdays 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and Fridays 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

Part of the Churchill Arts Council’s 2025–2026 Performing Arts Series, this event continues the CAC’s tradition of bringing world-class talent to Fallon and celebrating the cultural richness that defines the Great Basin’s creative spirit.

Whether you know her music or you’re hearing her for the first time, one thing’s certain, Gaby Moreno’s voice will find its way straight to your heart.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud. Thank you Aunt for this sweet post.Comment publication date: 3/27/26, 12:11 AMComment source: Obituary -- Randolph Floris Banovich C Comment author: RBCComment text: The Navy should reimburse the market cost of replacing the grazing land they are taking.
