Movies and More

We invite you to unwind with two unforgettable films at the Fallon Theatre this weekend. Whether you're looking for a heartwarming animated adventure or a classic story filled with emotion and humor, our screenings offer something for everyone. Before the movie, why not explore the local gems of downtown Fallon? Enjoy shopping, dining, and drinks, all just a short walk from the theater.

Join us at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday for a captivating and beautifully animated journey with "Migration," a heartwarming story about a young family of ducks migrating across vast and breathtaking landscapes. Full of adventure, family values, and stunning visuals, this movie is perfect for all ages. Don't miss the chance to experience this modern animated film on the big screen. This film is rated PG and runs for 1 hour and 23 minutes.

Alongside "Migration," we have "Steel Magnolias," the beloved 1989 classic that tells the story of a close-knit group of Southern women who navigate love, loss, and friendship with strength and humor. Featuring an all-star cast including Sally Field, Dolly Parton, and Julia Roberts, this film is a perfect blend of comedy and heartfelt moments. Grab your friends and enjoy this timeless favorite with us on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. This PG-rated film runs 1 hour and 57 minutes and is generously sponsored by Soroptimist International of Fallon.

We're sorry to inform you that our Heritage of the West event, originally set for Saturday, April 5th, has been canceled. However, we're excited to share that The Lincoln Highway Band will take the stage that evening for a full concert at 7 p.m. With their dynamic mix of country, rock, and classic '50s hits, this performance will surely be an evening full of energy and great music you won't want to miss!

In May, we're thrilled to welcome Head Over Feet, a talented Alanis Morissette tribute band, to the stage on the 5th at 7 p.m. If you're a fan of '90s alternative rock, don't miss this night of amazing music and powerful vocals! Admission is just $15, so get your tickets now!

We reached out to the writer/submitter and got this info back...hope it's helpful. PBM: Pharmacy Benefit Managers are pharmacies that are owned by insurance companies. (CVS is one.) They negotiate with drug makers to get reduced pricing for medications, but they historically have not passed along those savings to patients. https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/ftc_gov/pdf/pharmacy-benefit-managers-staff-report.pdf MFN: Most Favored Nation pricing is a policy that means a country agrees to offer the same trade concessions (like tariffs or price reductions) to all member nations of the World Trade Organization (WTO). When applied to pharmaceuticals, it could disrupt global access, deter innovation, and obscure the deeper systemic issues in American health care. https://petrieflom.law.harvard.edu/2025/05/22/the-global-risks-of-americas-most-favored-nation-drug-pricing-policy/Comment publication date: 6/23/25, 7:47 AMComment source: L E T T E R TO THE EDITOR
