Come Celebrate Frey Whiskey Harvest Season at the Farm

In celebration of its annual Whiskey Harvest and the brand’s commitment to community-based giving, Frey Ranch Distillery will host its second annual Whiskey Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Frey Ranch Distillery, located at 1045 Dodge Lane in Fallon. Held in partnership with Fallon Food Hub, the festival will feature a sip and shop, food trucks, complimentary tours and tastings, live music and more, as Frey Ranch caps another successful year of farming and harvesting its whiskey grains. The free event is open to the community and will support Fallon Food Hub’s mission of helping local farmers while celebrating the high-quality grains that go into Frey Ranch’s award-winning whiskeys. Additionally, Frey Ranch will donate $1 from every bottle sold in the Tasting Room from now through October to the organization. More details can be found online at Frey Ranch’s Facebook.

The festival will bring farmers who work with Fallon Food Hub to the Ranch and offer guests the opportunity to purchase seasonal local produce and handmade goods from various vendors. Food trucks will be onsite offering local fare and seasonal Frey Ranch craft cocktails will also be available to purchase. The festivities also include a corn cannon activity and live music by The Coaches.
“Our inaugural Whiskey Harvest Festival was an absolute success and we’re thrilled to continue sharing our passion for farming and whiskey with our community,” said co-founder Ashley Frey. “The season is a special time of year, as Colby and the team harvest the grains for our whiskey, and we love inviting everyone to celebrate with us. We are also staunch supporters of our community and farmers, so working with Fallon Food Hub is the perfect addition to the festival.”

As a non-profit organization, Fallon Food Hub supports local farmers by purchasing their produce and then distributing it to those who are food insecure, creating a thriving and healthier community. The organization also focuses on education, advocacy, and grant assistance – all centered around the agricultural community in Churchill County.

As winners of the Nevada Agriculture Small Business award, Frey Ranch is one of only a few whiskey producers who grow, harvest, distill and malt 100 percent of its whiskey grains on-site. The annual Whiskey Harvest yields the crops of corn, wheat, barley, and rye that make Frey Ranch a true, From Ground-To-Glass® distillery. As the seasons change, the annual Whiskey Harvest runs from August to late October and will be marked with the festival at Frey Ranch.

They strung them along for years until they had no financial choice but to accept and get out. My Dad even hauled water for the Snow ranch trying to stay afloat. May God bless you all. I truly pray it works out for you.Comment publication date: 3/28/26, 9:22 PMComment source: Local Rancher Says Navy Land Expansion is Devastating His Family RanchComment author: Lynn JohnsonComment text: I remember your mother well; she was a lovely and kind woman. I see glimpses of your face in the years worn onto my dad. It makes me feel more connected to you in some way. I remember the familiar kindness from you that I know in my dad. I would’ve really liked to have a good conversation. I only have a handful of memories with you, but you were loving, and you were kind. I wish I was able to say more. If I am someone to you, I hope I make you proud. Thank you Aunt for this sweet post.Comment publication date: 3/27/26, 12:11 AMComment source: Obituary -- Randolph Floris Banovich C Comment author: RBCComment text: The Navy should reimburse the market cost of replacing the grazing land they are taking.
