The Fallon Police Department would like to give a special thank you to the community and the CVS Associates for donating water to officers through the CVS Colleagues Program for First Responders.

Tami Givan is the Manager at CVS who has been working on the water donation program for the past two years. "It’s all about CVS supporting our community with the help of the community," she said. Last year the water donation program netted 365 cases that were donated to the area first responders: Fallon/Churchill Fire Department, Banner EMS, Churchill County Sherriff ’s Department, Nevada Highway Patrol, and the Fallon Police Department.

This year so far, at the close of May, the community has donated 281 cases. The water drive will continue through the end of August. Customers can donate a case of water when they are in the store to whichever agency they would like to support.

Who and what they REALLY were. Because they were devotional and IMPORTANT to the humans they connected with. The content of their life bled so that others could feel their own life’s importance. Teachers of justifiable life and art. That all can absorb and use as the best fertilizer for THEIR lives. Giving the silent secrets and the loud guidance. The Melon Man was a perfect specimen for how to devote. His passing meant a life book of feeling/knowing what gives other humans their paths to Love and Knowledge. Some humans are meant to show others their paths. And in that they secrete ways to profitably exist.Comment publication date: 3/18/26, 4:50 PMComment source: In memorium -- The Melon Man
