Adam Wadsworth recently graduated from the University of Nevada

The family of Adam Wadsworth proudly announces his graduation from the University of Nevada with a Bachelor of Science/Master of Science degree from the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology, and Natural Resources in the field of Biotechnology. A message from Adam --

"These degrees are representative of the resilience, perseverance, and dedication that I have developed during my time at the University of Nevada. Through injury, illness, and the loss of loved ones, I have been able to practice patience, empathy, and kindness toward myself and others as I progress toward becoming the man I want to be. I want to say thank you to professors, mentors, friends and family for contributing to this growth by challenging me and helping me understand who I am as a person. The hours spent in lab, at the library, at the tutoring center, and in church have shaped my college experience, through the people I have met and the opportunities I've been given. I wanted to give a special thanks to my mom Patty, my dad Charles, my fiancé Rebecca, all of my siblings, Dr. Harvey, Dr. Howard, Dr. Urban, Christopher Chadwick, and the friends I had the pleasure to meet who have helped me get to this point."

Comment author: Patti Cole Comment text: Marie will be forever treasured in memories. The memories remain of a soft-spoken, seemingly unassuming but determined individual who absolutely knew what path she wanted to take in life, and followed it. Her instinctive reactions, which highlighted her steadfast level of love and caring for her family, friends and all living things found in nature, hold lessons for us all. An unexpected splash of her self-deprecating humor, coupled with uncanny timing, will always bring a smile. For me, Marie lives on in the sighting of a Black-crowned night heron in the tules, the bloom of a beautiful spring flower and, most poetically, in the struggle of wildlife photographers handling their very large camera lenses. Her dad Ted was my dad's brother. I never knew Ted or Betty, but I wish I did. I am 73 and live in IL. I am building my family tree and see where Betty has fit in. Blessings to you Curt and family.
